School Build Update

Nov 2017

We are currently working through the detailed design of the school.  Building on the school site is expected to begin in January 2018.

Southbase is our building contractor and RDT Pacific will oversee the build.

May 2017 

A preliminary design has been completed and the Ministry is currently tendering for a design and build contractor.

A clearer expectation for build start and completion will be available later in 2017.

August 2016

The Ministry of Education, in conjunction with Sockburn School Board of Trustees, signed an agreement to work with Architectus as our Master planning team for the Wigram Primary School planning.

During August 2016 we are working together to determine how the buildings will be placed on the school site.

Architectus has recently completed the development for West Rolleston Primary School (opened February 2016).
